California Court Programs ("CCR") is licensed by the State of California's Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs and approved by the Los Angeles County Alcohol and Drug Program Administration, to provide DUI and DWI treatment services and education services for individuals convicted of a wet-reckless, first, second or multiple offense of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or other drugs and substances. It is a fully licensed DUI/DWI Program and School. As such, CCR provides a varied spectrum of DUI and DWI services, such as assessments and evaluations, driver assessments, chemical dependency evaluations, alcohol screening services and alcohol and drug evaluations. It is a full-service DUI/DWI screening agency and education program facility. All DUI and DWI Assessments are California State Certified and are issued by the State Licensed DUI/DWI Facility.
CCR's counseling and educational programs are administered by Certified Addiction, Alcohol and Drug Therapists and Counselors. Our counselors undergo variety of certifications and continuing education programs and are fully up to date on the latest judicial and DMV requirements and developments in the therapies and counseling relating to these offenses.
SB-1176 Program - First Offender 12-Hour "Wet Reckless" Program
WET RECKLESS: Individuals convicted of a "wet-reckless" DUI offense must complete a minimum of 12 hours of alcohol and drug education. The Wet Reckless Programs serve persons convicted of reckless driving with a measurable amount of alcohol in their blood.
AB-541 Program
FIRST OFFENDER 3- OR 4-MONTH TREATMENT PROGRAM: A person convicted of a first DUI offense must complete a state-licensed three-month, 30-hour alcohol and drug education and counseling program. A person convicted of a first DUI offense with a blood alcohol content of 0.20 or higher may be required by the court to complete a state-licensed nine-month, 60-hour alcohol and drug education and counseling program. These programs are designed to enable participants to consider attitudes and behavior, support positive lifestyle changes, and reduce or eliminate the use of alcohol and/or drugs.
AB-762 Program
FIRST OFFENDER 6-MONTH TREATMENT PROGRAM: Individuals convicted of a first DUI offense must complete a minimum 42 hours consisting of education, group and individual counseling.
AB-1353 Program
FIRST OFFENDER 9-MONTH TREATMENT PROGRAM: Individuals convicted of a first DUI offense, may be required by the court to complete a minimum of 56 hours, 9-month treatment program consisting of education, group and individual counseling.
SECOND OFFENDER 18-MONTH TREATMENT PROGRAM (SB38): Individuals age 21 and older whose conviction date was 1990 or later must complete 78 hours program consisting of education, group and individual counseling. Program requirements are: 52 hours of group counseling; 12 hours of alcohol and drug education; 6 hours of community reentry monitoring; and biweekly individual interviews during the first 12 months of the program.
MULTIPLE OFFENDER 30-MONTHS TREATMENT PROGRAM (SB1365): Individuals age 21 and older convicted of a third or more DUI offense may be ordered to complete 158 hours consisting of education, group and individual counseling. The individual must also complete a compendium of evidence for the Court that they have effectively made changes that demonstrate measurable improvement of living and behaving responsibly.
THE DEJ PROGRAM (formerly known as PC-1000)
The DEJ Program is a 5-month program aimed towards individuals convicted for use and/or possession of illegal substances, and or those who entered a plea of guilty. The judgment is put aside (put on hold) upon successful completion of the DEJ requirements. The Program is designed to assist individuals recognize their chemical and/or other drug dependency and assist them in their recovery.
OUT-OF-STATE DUI/DWI MATTERS
CCRI specializes in addressing matters caused by DUI/DWI's in states other than California. We work closely with each individual case to address specific requirements of each state. We address state-by-state Driver License Holds and Out-of-State Alcohol and Drug Dependency Assessments as needed to regain your driving privileges.
CCRI also addresses DMV issues, including installation of IID Devices required under the pilot program adopted by the California Assembly Bill 91 and Senate Bill 598 as well as Traffic Schools.
